Sheila Kemper Dietrich
Founder and CEO
Sheila is the Founder and CEO of Livliga®. Sheila created Livliga and the VisualQs philosophy out of her years of personal experience in waging the war against obesity and longing to embrace a healthier lifestyle. She has personally benefited from the concepts integrated into Livliga and has become a great advocate for its efficacy in living a healthy lifestyle. Before Livliga, Sheila spent a large part of her career in trust and wealth management in the banking industry and additionally has been recognized by many organizations for her community leadership. This passion for making the world a better place has manifested itself throughout her life including years as a Peace Corps volunteer in Democratic Republic of the Congo (formerly Zaïre), Africa, and her leadership as CEO and Executive Director of both PATH International and The Denver Division of the American Heart Association.
CFO & COO
For 30 years, Walt has held leadership positions with companies in diverse fields, including the for-profit, entrepreneurial start-up, and not-for-profit arenas. He has brought his experience in finance, and years of work in the visual arts and design worlds to round out the Livliga team. Walt has served as CEO, COO, CFO, business manager and entrepreneur, with specific emphasis on finance, operations and design. He currently serves as chairman of the CU Art Museum Advisory Board and is the owner of Arcadian Property Management, LLC, an architecture and design company in Boulder, Colorado. He served as CEO and president of A. Reich & Sons, Inc, and as deputy director and business manager of the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City. He has also dedicated countless hours in board responsibilities to companies in the banking, healthcare, child protection and arts worlds.
Chief Creative Officer
A ceramic artist and illustrator of 15 years, Tim has a multifarious approach to design that often fuses contemporary cultural influences with traditional aesthetics. He draws upon his experience with object making and illustration as a product designer, steering the Creative team for Livliga. His formative years were spent in the Pacific Northwest where he received multiple working grants as a studio artist and was eventually recognized by Seattle Art Museum’s Poncho Recognition Award for his series “Poor Man’s Porcelain.” His ceramic work can be found in the permanent collections of Arizona State University, San Francisco Museum of Fine Art, Deyoung, and the Museum of Contemporary Craft in Portland, Oregon. He has been featured in Ceramics Monthly, Dwell, and the anthology, Confrontational Ceramics (2008, NYU press).
Dusty Cody Buck
After completing AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps, where he voluntarily served nearly 2000 hours of community service around the country, Dusty received his Bachelor of Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture from the University of Colorado at Boulder College of Architecture and Planning. He earned Honors while participating in programs such as the Habitat for Humanity Design Studio and Bio-SIPS Research and Development Project. Dusty has worked on residential, office, and cultural design projects at high-end architecture design firms in Denver, Colorado. He then co-founded Local Solutions, LLC, a company focused on designing and producing digitally fabricated urban backyard agricultural products. He recently received an Honorable Mention award for his participation in the International Design Competition, NYC: Water as the Sixth Borough, and is continuing his career in product design and development for Livliga.
